X2x2X.org. is a community of professional software developers, consultants, authors, evangelists, speakers, trainers, and teachers devoted to developing and supporting software for every major platform for all XML technologies that have been standardized by the W3C, ECMA, or any other recognized standards body that represents large and diverse communities. In addition X2x2X is devoted to developing support for other XML technologies we feel are worthy of our efforts because of the impact the potential technology can have on the overall development community and the customer base in which they serve. Providing support to interested individuals or organizations for these same technologies through the various forms of communication channels and areas of expertise of each group member will also be a primary focus of this group.
One of the early focal points of the X2x2X group is to develop a base of reusable technologies to easily share the common elements of open-source projects as well as provide efficient communication channels for the group. This site and the community interface currently used by Saxon.NET are examples of how all X2x2X projects can benefit from easy development and deployment of a web interface that is commonly linked through visually appealing and easily recognizable graphical elements. By developing such a "brand" we hope to garner instant respect from those in which we have already developed such respect from the development of earlier projects.
